Description:

Since 1952, the Washington State Youth Conservation Camps (WSYCC) have been educating youth about conservation and outdoor skills. Our camps provide hands-on learning experiences that foster a deep appreciation for nature and promotes environmental stewardship. The camps are held each year at the Camp Moran Retreat Center in Moran State Park on Orcas Island and is open to youth ages 12-16 throughout the region.

WSYCCs mission is to educate and inspire junior sportsmen (1 week boys camp / 1 week girls camp) about conservation and environmental stewardship through hands-on outdoor experiences. Our vision is to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious outdoors men and women who are committed to managing natural resources and wildlife while actively enjoying outdoor sporting activities, so future generations may have the same opportunities.
